Established on February 19, 2003 as a result of an agreement between the Council of Huarte and the Buldain Family, and housed in a historical building, the Huarte-Buldain Foundation was opened on May 3 2005.

The Foundation is located in Huarte, a small town in a rural environment six kilometres away from Pamplona. The building that houses it dates back from 1935 and is one of the first works of the architect Victor Eusa
